But If you were a fan of UT when they were together - which truthfully eliminates the vast majority of his & Wilco’s fan base of today - and you were being honest, if told both he and Jay were eventually going to break up & start their own projects, while it was obvious both guys were tremendously talented, you never would’ve projected Tweedy would become the more commercially successful of the two. But 30 years later, here we are. Anyway, regardless of the present, they’re a legendary band from so long ago now that they certainly could’ve been in one of the favorite bands of your current favorite band’s favorite band.
